For independent workshops
The inspection your customer can actually see.
Your technician inspects on a tablet. Your customer gets a link with photographs of their own car and what actually needs doing. Under your name, not ours.
Built in a working Australian workshop, not a software office.
The problem
You found the fault. They still said no.
A verbal quote is a claim
Your customer is standing in a workshop being told their car needs $1,400 of work by the person who gets paid to do it. Nothing about that is evidence.
Paper job cards stay in the bay
What your tech saw never leaves the workshop. Nothing goes home to the person who actually makes the decision.
Six months later it's your word against theirs
No photos, no timestamps, no record of what you advised and when you advised it.
None of this is a selling problem. It's an evidence problem.
How it works
Three steps, no retyping.
Inspect on a tablet
Mechanical and panel, item by item. Pass, advisory or fail, with a note and a photo where it matters. Enter the rego and the vehicle details fill themselves in.
Customer gets a link
Opens on their phone at the kitchen table. Photos of their car, plain English, and a clear verdict on what must be done and what can wait.
Workshop gets a job card
The fails and advisories only, in bay order, the moment the report is sent. Nobody copies anything onto paper twice.
Built for the bay
It works where your techs actually work.
No signal, no problem
Concrete and steel kill wifi. The inspection keeps working in a dead spot and uploads itself when the signal comes back. Nobody loses an hour of work.
Installs like an app
Add it to the home screen on any phone or tablet. No app store, no IT, no device management, nothing to roll out.
Your name on all of it
Your logo, your colours, your address on every report your customer sees. Franchise groups set it once and every site inherits it.
Pricing
Priced on how many people use it.
Pick the band that matches your crew. Move up or down any time — no lock-in, and no per-seat surprises on the invoice.

The first five workshops
A$49 a month, held for twelve months. Full product, nothing held back. I set your workshop up myself — branding, staff logins, the lot. In return I want honest feedback and permission to fix things fast.
Questions workshop owners ask
Straight answers.
Do I have to change my workshop software?
No. Proofbay does inspections and customer reports. It sits alongside whatever you use for bookings and invoicing rather than replacing it.
What happens when the wifi drops in the back bay?
The inspection keeps working. It's saved on the device as your tech goes, and it uploads on its own once there's signal again. This was tested before it was promised.
Can my customer tell it isn't my own system?
No. The report carries your logo, your colours and your business details. Our name appears nowhere on what your customer receives.
Does it work on the phones my techs already have?
Yes — Android or iPhone, plus tablets and the workshop PC. It installs from the browser to the home screen, so there's no app store approval and nothing for you to manage.
Who owns the inspection data?
You do. Each workshop's records are walled off from every other workshop, enforced in the database rather than by a setting somebody can forget to tick.
How long does it take to get running?
About a week. I set up your branding and your team's logins, then walk one of your techs through a real inspection on one of your own cars.
Want to be one of the first five?
Tell me about your workshop and I'll set it up for you personally. No sales process — I run a workshop too.
